Good things that happened this week: I am finally back from my 16 day vacation & 3 days in, I am already back in the swing of things! I started yoga & work right away which is awesome! I spent a lot of money on my vacation so these next month, I don’t have any days off! Time to get all the money back & lose the 5 lbs I gained! Also, back to blogging every Wednesday!

Challenge this week: BUDGET! Since Jr & I spent so much money, we need to budget as much as we can! So I urge you all to do the same!

Focus this week: Yoga & Work

That’s right.. I am! I had an amazing time with JR’s family during our 16 day vacation.

The first 7 days was a cruise vacation and it was incredible! It was my very first cruise too, so it was extra special. We rode on the biggest ship of the world, Harmony Of The Sea by Royal Caribbean. Our destinations were: Labadee, Haiti; Falmouth; Jamaica, & Cozumel, Mexico.

Day 1 at sea:

We toured the entire ship, settled down to our cabin, and enjoyed our first 3-course dinner. Afterward, we enjoyed some drinks at the Karaoke bar (which JR sang and killed it- he even got a job offer from the cruise director), and to end the night, we went to the nightclub called The Attic & got some shots of patron!

Day 2: At sea: Formal night for dinner so we got dressed up! The rest of the day consisted of relaxing and drinking margaritas 🙂

Day 3: Labadee, Haiti- our first port of the cruise!

This island is privately owned by Royal Caribbean. Jr & I enjoyed drinking fresh coconuts by the beach, we even fell asleep!

Day 4: Falmouth, Jamaica

We were excited to enjoy the beaches of Jamaica but sadly, it was mostly raining and very windy. So we ended up eating at Margaritaville and then we headed back to the ship to relax by the pool. Still a fun, relaxing day! From the second picture, you can tell how windy it is! That night, we ended up drinking so much (Karaoke & the usual club), we were so hungover the next day!

Day 5: At sea

Since we were hungover, we didn’t wake up until 11am. I ran the track (There’s a track around the ship, so amazing!!!), went back to the room and got JR, and we laid again by the pool! I obviosly need more time in the pool to get dark. By this time, I’m getting there… sort of.

Day 6: Cozumel, Mexico

My favorite port of the cruise and our last one! The weather was amazing, and we went to a privately owned beach called Playa Mia! We bought an all you can drink pass (duh) and we laid out by the beach! After 10 coladas, JR & I decided to jet ski! $65 for 30 minutes for two people which is pretty good! I wasn’t the driver since JR is scared if I drove the thing… lol! JR & I also kayaked which was so fun!

Day 7: At sea

Last day of the cruise and we had to pack! We got to say goodbye to our waiter, Karim & Catiane who were amazing to us. I also got to rock climb twice! During the night, JR sang one last time at the Karaoke bar, and we went to the attic one last time! We got to say goodbye to our new friends, Whitney & Ashley.

Day 8: Off to Orlando, Florida!

The next 7 days of my vacation will be in Orlando, Florida with the rest of JR’s family, which I will share to you all next Wednesday!

  1. Just discovered your blog. What a vacation. I look forward to reading about your adventures. I love your mosaic bikini. Who makes it? You have a great figure. I do not see 5 extra pounds. Where are you hiding them? How is the diet going?
